About the Department

Panchakarma is the most specialized branch of Ayurveda. Presently it is the most accepted Ayurvedic science which focuses on holistic approach of Ayurveda providing detoxification (Shodhana), disease prevention, health promotion and rejuvenation.

The Panchakarma department holds significant importance in the Ayurveda healthcare system due to its key role is disease prevention, management, health promotion and rejuvenation.

Panchakarma therapies are designed to cleanse the body by expelling the accumulated toxins (Ama) at cellular level. It promotes health by balancing the Tridoshas (Vata, Pitta and kapha), eliminates root causes of disease, and improves overall immunity.

The department boasts a distinct specialized lab, a museum for Panchakarma, and a demonstration room equipped with both ancient and advanced tools. We have smart classrooms with audio-video provisions to facilitate learning for over 100 students.

Yogya Clinical Skill Lab

Our 200 sq. mt. skill lab features:

  • 5 Full body mannequins for Abhyanga, Udwartana, etc.
  • 5 Enema trainer models for Basti administration.
  • 10 Catheterization models (male/female) for Uttara Basti.
