We train students in the entire drug manufacturing process - from raw material identification and purification to the preparation of complex formulations like Bhasmas, Kupipakwa Rasayanas, and various herbal dosage forms. Our focus is on bringing traditional formulations into modern practice by establishing their safety, efficacy, and quality control standards.
To develop preliminary QC profiles of formulations, focus on safety aspects and drug interaction studies, and create new drug delivery systems. We aim to establish an Institutional Drug Manufacturing Unit to become self-independent in drug production.
Students engage in rigorous practical training involving the preparation of various Ayurvedic formulations essential for hospital use and therapy.
