Dr. Ankita Padhi

Dr. Ankita Padhi is currently serving as an Assistant Professor & Consultant in the Department of Shalya Tantra.She possesses extensive hands-on clinical experience in para-surgical procedures, having independently performed and assisted in more than 100 procedures.
Dr Ankita Padhi is particularly recognised for her specialised clinical practice in Cupping Therapy, delivering highly effective management of cervical spondylosis, chronic musculoskeletal pain, and lumbar spondylosis,with outstanding clinical outcomes. She seamlessly integrates cupping therapy with classical Ayurvedic principles and modern clinical assessment to provide comprehensive and patient-centred care.
Her additional areas of interest include fistula-in-ano management, Arsha (hemorrhoids), wound care, and minimally invasive Ayurvedic techniques. She also demonstrates high proficiency in Leech Therapy (Jalaukavacharana), especially in the management of various dermatological and inflammatory skin conditions, contributing significantly to her holistic and integrative treatment approach.
Dr. Ankita actively contributes to academic development, curriculum planning, student mentoring, and clinical training of undergraduate and
postgraduate students. With excellent diagnostic acumen and a strong commitment to continuous learning, she plays a vital role in strengthening both teaching and patient care services of the department.
