A Diwali concert for a noble cause
Come out to a dazzling performance by musical prodigy Rakesh Chaurasia, one of India’s most famous flutists and nephew of Hariprasad Chaurasia. Watch Michelin Star Chef Vikas Khanna express his support for the Sri Sri University Hospital. Dance along with performances by choreographers Sareena Nagpal and Nishita Shah.

Performance by Rakesh Chaurasia
Rakesh Chaurasia is the nephew of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, India’s most famous flute player. Rakesh has followed in his uncle’s footsteps and has carved out a niche for himself as an accomplished flautist. He incorporates tradition into his style while maintaining the purity of sound, which attracts listeners from all generations.

Address by Vikas Khanna
Vikas Khanna is an Indian culinary legend. He’s a pioneer in the world of food, film, and art. His humble beginnings have proved to be the stepping stones of his success in the food and beverage industry. Encouraged by his successes, he has spread his wings and dabbled into the world of film writing as well.

Dance performances by Sareena Nagpal
Sareena Nagpal is a dancer and meditation instructor. She started her dance journey at the age of 4, training in kathak, bollywood and many other folk dance forms. Sareena has performed for audiences of several thousand people, presenting a semi-classical kathak and bharatnatyam composition at the Guru Poornima celebrations at the Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone, North Carolina in July 2019. Sareena also teaches meditation to youth groups across America.

Nishita Shah
Nishita Shah is a dedicated teacher, choreographer, and performer. She commenced her dance and music education at the age of 4 under the tutelage of Smt. Bindu Shah of Kanta Kala Shikshan Kendra in Mumbai, India. Throughout the journey of 17 years of training she founded Nrityangana Dance School in Milwaukee, WI and then after relocating to Edmond, OK Nritya Arpan Dance School in 2010 where students undergo a systematic syllabus of Bharatanatyam

Raj Rahhi
Raaj Rahhi is a creative production professional of international repute. He has over 20+ years of experience in the entertainment industry and his extensive experience spans across television, films and media events. Raaj is an innovative producer, director and distribution consultant with expertise in event management and execution for large scale productions on both national as well as international levels.

About Sri Sri University Hospital

Sri Sri University Hospital aspires to be a one-of-a-kind multi-super specialty hospital in the rural areas of Eastern India, where one-third of the population lives below the poverty line (<$1 per day). Following the vision of world humanitarian, Sri Sri Ravishankar, the 100-bed hospital, which opened in 2019, has already serviced over 10,000 patients from the surrounding districts. To better assist COVID victims during the COVID epidemic, the hospital was converted into a FREE COVID care facility. The funds raised will be utilized to expand the hospital to 240 beds.
