Sri Sri Ayurveda Hospital conducted a health camp for the tribal community at Bhalunka near to Godisahi, Cuttack around 3 KM interior from Cuttack-Banki Road in a remote place where all residence is socially and economically backward with a very poor educational standard. The place was selected to perform the divine work for the benefit of poor people.
The camp was conducted from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM beginning with Guru Puja performed by Dr. Sandhya Sadana (CAO), Mrs. Mamata Kurumilla & Miss Tarulata.
The camp was arranged with an objective to help the needy people and to advise them for maintaining hygiene and sanitation to make them disease-free. Free medicines were distributed as per the prescription of specialist doctors. The camp was gUided by Prof (Dr.) Durga Prasad Dash (MS) with the help of Dr. PK. Pattanaik (DMS) and Dr. Armaan Pariksha(RMO), Mr. Ratikant Rout (Laboratory Technician). Miss. Ipsita Priyadarsini (Nursing Sister). It is observed that more patients were suffering from either acid peptic diseases and skin diseases due to unhygienic diet intake.
A total number of 92 patients were examined and free medicines distributed. Total patients attending to camp for Kayachikitsa, Kaumarbhritya &Shalya were 52, 36, and 2 respectively. Patients were advised to take the medicines along with proper Anupana or hot water. The medical team discussed with the members of the village and asked them to visit Sri Sri Ayurveda Hospital for free consultations as and when they required.
